GLISTEN: What’s been your biggest challenge as a band and how have you overcome that?

AMP: Touring gets really rough sometimes. You are in a van with 7 people and its hot and smelly, and you haven’t slept because you’ve had to drive through the night because you have to be at the next venue at 12pm and you just left the last venue at midnight and you feel like you have no place to run and hide. Usually I will hide under my blanket and go on the internet and surf YouTube, I love watching funny animal videos, or I’ll read a book with a flash light.  It’s all about communication, being in a band is like marriage….. you just gotta talk it out.

GLISTEN: How did you come up with the name After Midnight Project

AMP: Insomnia! I couldn’t sleep after I would get home from my day job, so I’d stay up all night writing and recording new songs. I would usually start at midnight, After Midnight Project was a working title that stuck.

GLISTEN: Do you guys work out at all? If so, what do you listen to while you’re working out

AMP: We all work out. Even on tour we do Sit-Ups, Push-Ups and we play shows which is a work out in and of itself. Lately I have been listening to our new album which will be coming out this summer. I love working out to Rage Against the Machine, Foo fighters, The Used. Anything heavy I guess. I love stretching to BJORK, Kings of Leon, Antony and the Johnsons.. I love down tempo electro.

GLISTEN: Do you have a favorite venue to play at?

AMP: The Key Club in West Hollywood. That’s our home, they take care of us and its always fun!

GLISTEN: What’s the best way to get our hands on your music?

AMP: Right now we are selling an EP on ITunes. Check it out on Our MySpace as well
